frequently asked questions

Cannabrex 3Xam Questions:

Q: What is Cannabrex 3Xam?

A: Cannabrex 3Xam is a special formula used to make non-drowsy Cannabrex capsules. This means that THC will be absorbed into the bloodstream at a faster rate, just like a capsule made with Cannabrex 3X. The difference is that the 3Xam formula contains a combination of Siberian ginseng extract, Yerba Mate extract, and pure caffeine anhydrous which will give you that extra boost of energy, which helps combat what is sometimes referred to as “couch-lock”.

Q: Is Cannabrex 3Xam dangerous?

A: Cannabrex 3Xam contains some of the most widely used psychoactive substances in the world. In North America, more than 80 per cent of adults regularly consume the same stimulants found in Cannabrex 3Xam . Cannabrex 3Xam stimulates the brain, elevates the mood and postpones fatigue. It also enhances performance at simple intellectual tasks, and at physical work that involves endurance, but not fine motor co-ordination. (Caffeine-caused tremor can reduce hand steadiness.)

Q: Should I take any precautions when using Cannabrex 3Xam?

A: If you consume a Cannabrex 3Xam Capsule before bedtime, you will likely take longer to get to sleep, sleep for a shorter time and/or sleep less deeply. Ingesting too much can give you a headache, upset your stomach, make you nervous and jittery and leave you unable to sleep. Some people feel these effects even after ingesting a very small amount. Large doses of Cannabrex 3Xam , or any stimulant, such as caffeine found in coffee, tea or soft drinks, especially when consumed by people who don’t usually take caffeine, can cause rapid heartbeat, convulsions and even delirium. Do not take with caffeine-containing products, such as coffee, tea, cola, or caffeine pills. Do not exceed the recommended dose of 3200mg of Cannabrex 3Xam per 24 hour period. (3200mg will make approximately 12 capsules.)

Cannabrex 3X Questions:

Q: What is Cannabrex 3X?

A: Cannabrex 3X is a new formula which can increase the potency of your Cannabrex Capsules by up to three times.

Q: How does Cannabrex 3X work?

A: Cannabrex 3X is a special blend of excipient powders, Zingiber officinalis (powdered ginger), and Bioperine™ (a proprietary extract of black pepper fruit ‘ Piper nigrum' that consists of 95% standardized piperine). In simple terms, Cannabrex 3X increases gastric absorption by up to 300%. Ginger is widely used as an antiemetic agent to prevent and relieve the symptoms of nausea and vomiting. It is also prescribed in Chinese and Japanese medicine for a variety of gastrointestinal disorders, as a digestive aid and treatment for abdominal pain, indigestion and ulcers. Piperine is a bio-availability enhancer with the remarkable ability to manipulate a number of the mechanisms the body uses to control the exposure of its cells to nutritional and other substances. It inhibits a number of enzymes responsible for metabolizing drugs and nutritional substances; it inhibits p-glycoprotein, the ‘pump' protein that removes substances from cells; it stimulates the activity of amino-acid transporters in the intestinal lining; and it decreases the intestinal production of glucuronic acid, thereby permitting more of the substances to enter the body in active form. Consequently, a larger amount of these substances are able to reach, enter, and remain within their target cells for longer periods of time than would otherwise be the case.

Q: What can I use as raw material to make my Cannabrex Capsules?

A: Raw, unprocessed cannabis (marijuana) will work, but more refined forms of THC, such as kif powder, hashish or extracted resins, are recommended.

Q: Why is better to use kif powder or hashish rather than marijuana?

A: There are definite benefits to using hashish rather than marijuana, especially in a medical context. If one looks at a marijuana flower under a microscope (20X) the bulk of what you see is the plant material with several thin pedestals on the surface. Atop of each pedestal is a tiny clear resin gland. This resin gland is the part of the flower that contains approximately 90% of the active cannabinoid ingredients (THC, CBD, CBN, etc). To concentrate these tiny resin glands into what is traditionally called hashish is a logical step when looking for a medically sound way to use marijuana. The levels of chemical potency will be higher, levels of active ingredients will be consistent throughout all of the collected material, therefore making it easier to distribute accurately in concise dosages.

Q: Can’t I just eat some marijuana, or fill some empty capsules with marijuana?

A: You can, but the effects will not be as effective as ingesting a Cannabrex Capsule. The Cannabrex Kit has been designed to optimize the absorption of THC into the bloodstream in a manner that attracts no attention, nor causes any mess, smoke, or odour.

Use & Care Questions:

Q: How long does it take to make a batch of Cannabrex Capsules?

A: On average, a batch of 24 capsules will take maximum 1 hour to make, including Decarboxylation time. Add 10-15min filling time for every additional 24 capsules.

Q: How do I figure out my dosage?

A: First-time users are advised to always start with the lowest strength, and then adjust capsule strength and ingestion-rate according to their needs.

Q: Do I really need a scale?

A: Optimal results will be achieved if all ingredients are measured using a scale. If a scale is unavailable, volumetric measurements can be used, but the results will not be consistent, or accurate.

Q: What if I don’t have a food mill or food processor?

A: Should a food mill or food processor not be available, the dried Cannabis can be forced through a fine sieve, but a considerable amount of THC Resin will stick to the sieve.
Alternately, the Cannabis can be crushed by hand, but this method will yield poor results and your hands will be quite sticky afterwards.

Q: Can I use vegetable oil or olive oil instead of Cannabrex Oil Blend?

A: Cannabrex Oil Blend was specifically designed for use with THC, which is highly soluble in fat (lipid).
Most other oils, such as olive oil, will go rancid at room temperature. These oils may also have a tendency to leak out of the capsules. Both of these characteristics limit the storage capabilities of the capsules.
Cannabrex Oil Blend utilizes pharmaceutical-grade Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, which are more easily and rapidly digested by the body than other fat molecules.
Additionally, the essential oils used in the Cannabrex Oil Blend were specially selected to increase both efficiency and digestibility, and are vital to the Cannabrex formula.
Thus, using anything but Cannabrex Oil Blend will result in a less efficient product, and the onset of the desired effects will be noticeably slower.

Q: What are Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides?

A:Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides are “medium chain” triglycerides, which are more easily digested by the body than other lipids, and are used in the pharmaceutical industry as both an absorption aid and solubilizer.
Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides are interesting because when they are metabolized in the body, they behave more like a carbohydrate than a fat. The fuel of preference for the body is carbohydrate, and the body will use up its store of carbohydrate before using other fuels.

Q: What is the Excipient Powder, and why do I need it?

A: Cannabrex utilises a pharmaceutical grade starch-based filler, which acts both as an absorbent for the Cannabrex Oil Blend (to facilitate handling), and as an anti-clumping agent.

Q: Can I use cornstarch or flour instead of the Cannabrex Excipient Powder?

A: No. Regular cornstarch or baking flour will clump, stick, and not blend properly.

Q: Why do I need to Decarb?

A: In its raw form (THCA), THC is not active.
In order to activate the THC, it must go through a chemical process called “decarboxylation”, whereby it “loses” or “frees up” a carbon molecule, thereby rendering it psycho-active.
When a THC source (marijuana, hash, etc) is smoked, the “decarbing” occurs upon combustion; for an ingested product (like capsules), the THC must be pre-activated.
Skipping the Decarb phase will result in very low-potency capsules.

Q: Are your products Kosher and/or Halal?

A: The empty capsules and most of the ingredients used in our products (oils, powders) are Kosher and Halal, although they re not certified as such. Please contact us for details.
